FOOD RUNNER – LUCARELLI HOSPITALITY

We are seeking energetic, detail-oriented Food Runners to join our front-of-house team at Ultramar and The Lost Fire. Both restaurants are known for high-quality food, exceptional service, and a vibrant atmosphere — and we need team members who can keep up with the pace.
Position Overview
The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring each guest receives their dishes promptly, accurately, and beautifully presented. You’ll work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and managers to deliver an outstanding guest experience while maintaining a clean and organized service line.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately
- Ensure dishes are presented according to chef standards before leaving the kitchen
- Assist servers in clearing tables, refilling water, and restocking service areas
- Communicate clearly between kitchen and front-of-house teams regarding order status
- Maintain cleanliness of expo and service stations
- Support the flow of service during peak hours
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required — we’ll train the right person
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Must be able to stand, walk, and carry plates/trays for extended periods
