What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associate position at LUBRICATION SPECIALTIES LLC?
PURPOSE
This position is responsible for the production and packaging of products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate production equipment to package Hot Shot's Secret products
- Ensure product packaging is clean, straight and filled to the correct amount
- Work in a variety of areas from operating equipment on a packaging line, assembling kits, filling large containers of product to labeling bottles
- Operates various pieces of equipment (i.e. Bendi, Palletizer, Dolly Loader, Pallet Wrapper, and Electrical Pallet Jacks)
- Reports any mechanical problems
- Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes
- Follows good manufacturing practices and required work safe practices
- Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
- Other duties as assigned

- Good verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work as part of a team and be capable of self-direction
- Ability to be flexible based on production levels
- Ability to stand, walk, perform repetitive tasks and lift for long periods of time throughout the day
- Must have high attention to detail and desire to produce quality products
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating a forklift is a plus
OTHER INFORMATION
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Overtime occasionally required
