PURPOSE
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of raw materials, packaging components, finished goods, and production supplies by performing daily cycle counts, investigating variances, and ensuring all inventory transactions are completed accurately and on time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily cycle counts on raw materials, packaging materials (including bottles, caps, labels, cases), and finished goods.
- Reconcile physical counts with ERP/inventory control system data, research and correct discrepancies.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on inventory inaccuracies and report findings to leadership.
- Use findings to update SOPs, or describe new ones, improve warehouse layout, or adjust placement of high-variance items.
- Keep detailed records of counts, adjustments, investigations, and actions taken.
- Set KPIs and Monitor Performance.
- Monitor and verify lot numbers, batch numbers, expiration dates, and storage locations.
- Maintain accurate and timely inventory records across all warehouse and production storage areas.
- Ensure proper labeling, identification, and segregation of materials per chemical safety and quality standards.
- Process inventory adjustments with correct documentation and approvals.
- Assist with maintaining min/max levels and notifying leadership of potential shortages.
- Assist with receiving inventory, verifying counts, and ensuring materials are stored in proper locations.
- Pull and stage raw materials and packaging components for production runs as needed.
- Support physical inventory events (quarterly, annual, or as scheduled).
- Follow proper handling procedures for chemicals, flammables, and hazardous materials (in accordance with OSHA and company policies).
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including PPE requirements, chemical handling standards, and emergency procedures.
- Ensure inventory practices follow GMP, ISO, and internal quality standards.
- Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and process problems immediately.
- Develop production schedules of finished goods to meet customer demand and delivery requirements.
- Work closely with Production Manager and Blending Director to resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of cycle counting, inventory control, warehouse, or related experience.
- Prior use of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Syspro, Epicor, etc.).
OTHER INFORMATION
- Manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to chemicals, moving machinery, forklifts, and moderate noise.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, lift, and carry materials.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs safely.
