Medical Assistant
Lubbock Medical Clinic is seeking a motivated and dependable Medical Assistant to join our growing team!
We are a fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for someone who works well under pressure, enjoys working as part of a team, and is committed to providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
- Obtain and document patient vital signs
- Perform EKGs and other clinical testing
- Assist with rooming patients and maintaining exam rooms
- Prepare patients for provider visits and procedures
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Collaborate with providers and fellow team members
Qualifications
- Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Medical Assistant certification preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy clinical setting
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
