Job Role:- Sr Automation Tester Java Playwright
Job Location:- Irving, Texas
Job Description:-
We are seeking a skilled Sr Automation Tester with strong handson experience in automation testing across UI and API layers The ideal candidate must be proficient in Java Playwright and API automation with a solid understanding of modern testing frameworks CICD practices and Agile methodologies
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications
Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java and modern test libraries
Perform end to end API testing to validate functionality reliability and performance of services
Work closely with development and QA teams to define test requirements and create comprehensive test plans
Analyze test results identify defects and collaborate with developers for timely resolution
Enhance automation frameworks to improve scalability stability and test coverage
Participate in code reviews and provide recommendations on quality testability and automation best practices
Execute functional regression smoke and integration test suites as part of CICD pipelines
Write and execute SQL queries for backend validation during test cycles
Contribute actively in Agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively across crossfunctional teams
Required Skills
Handson experience in automation testing with strong expertise in Java
Hands on experience in Playwright or Selenium for UI automation Playwright preferred
Strong proficiency in API automation using tools such as Postman Rest Assured or equivalent
Good understanding of testing principles automation strategy and best practices
Experience with test management tools JIRA TestRail Zephyr etc
Good to have ability to write and optimize SQL queries for database testing
Strong analytical skills attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Experience working on complex projects in an Agile environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Salary : $75,000 - $110,000
