Job Description
Manage and maintain Redis database environments to ensure high availability reliability and optimal performance Perform installation configuration upgrades and patching activities specific to Redis databases Monitor Redis database performance metrics and implement enhancements to improve efficiency Ensure data integrity and security through tailored backup and recovery procedures Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support Redisrelated requirements and resolve issues Develop and maintain thorough documentation on Redis database configurations standards and best practices Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in Redis database administration
Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee daily Redis database operations including monitoring tuning and troubleshooting Plan and execute backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies to minimize system downtime Implement and enforce security policies access controls and compliance standards for Redis databases Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Redis data structures and queries Manage capacity planning growth forecasting and resource allocation for Redis environments Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to support application deployments migrations and upgrades involving Redis Mentor and guide junior DBAs and team members to enhance overall team capabilities
