Role description
QA Automation Engineer
4 to 8 Years Experience
We are looking for skilled QA Automation Engineers with strong experience in modern JavaScript testing frameworks and endtoend automation to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications and microservices
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain automated test frameworks for UI API and integration testing
Implement endtoend E2E test automation using Playwright
Develop and execute API tests contract tests and servicelevel validations
Collaborate with developers to ensure testability quality and early defect detection
Integrate automated tests into CICD pipelines for continuous validation
Analyze test results troubleshoot failures and improve test stability
Contribute to improving overall test strategy coverage and reliability
Required Skills Expertise
Handson experience with JavaScriptTypeScript testing frameworks such as Vitest Jest or similar
Experience testing applications built with NestJS Expressjs and React
Strong expertise in Playwright for UI automation
Solid experience in
oAPI testing RESTGraphQL
oContract testing
oServicelevel validation
Understanding of test automation patterns mocking strategies and test isolation
Additional Skills
Familiarity with Storybook and componentlevel testing strategies
Experience testing applications integrated with AWS services
Exposure to
oPerformance testing
oResiliency and reliability testing
Experience with CICD platforms eg Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI and test execution at scale
Nice to Have
Knowledge of test data management and environment provisioning
Experience with monitoring and observability tools
Familiarity with AgileScrum methodologies

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
