DEVOPS ENGINEER
OpenShift Container Platform OCP
ROLE PURPOSE Build automate secure and operate reliable enterprise container platforms that accelerate application delivery across onpremises and cloud environments
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform OCP to design implement automate and support enterprisegrade containerized environments This role is responsible for OpenShift administration CICD pipeline development platform reliability infrastructure automation security and operational excellence across hybrid cloud and onpremises environments
The ideal candidate has strong Kubernetes and OpenShift experience a passion for automation and the ability to partner with development infrastructure security and architecture teams to accelerate software delivery while maintaining platform stability and compliance
Key Responsibilities
OpenShift Platform Administration
Administer and support enterprise OpenShift clusters across development test and production environments
Design and maintain highly available OpenShift architectures
Perform platform upgrades patching and lifecycle management
Manage OpenShift Operators namespaces projects resource quotas and policies
Troubleshoot cluster node network storage and application issues
Ensure platform reliability scalability and performance
DevOps and CICD Automation
Design build and maintain CICD pipelines using enterprise DevOps tools
Automate application build test deployment and release processes
Implement GitOps practices and Infrastructure as Code IaC
Support container image creation repository management and deployment automation
Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment velocity and quality
Container and Kubernetes Operations
Deploy and manage containerized workloads using OpenShift and Kubernetes
Configure and maintain BuildConfigs deployment manifests routes services secrets and ConfigMaps
Optimize container resource utilization and scaling strategies
Develop and enforce container security standards and best practices
Platform Security and Compliance
Implement RBAC identity provider integrations and access controls
Support security scanning vulnerability remediation and compliance initiatives
Maintain secure management of secrets and sensitive configuration data
Partner with security teams to ensure adherence to organizational standards
Monitoring and Observability
Implement and maintain monitoring ing and logging solutions
Support enterprise observability platforms including Prometheus Grafana and centralized logging tools
Develop dashboards and operational health reporting
Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
Cloud and Infrastructure Integration
Support OpenShift deployments across onpremises and cloud platforms
Integrate platform services with enterprise networking storage authentication and cloud services
Enable resilient hybridcloud and multicluster architectures
Support disaster recovery and high availability requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or equivalent experience
Five or more years of DevOps Site Reliability Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering experience
Three or more years of handson OpenShift Container Platform administration experience
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and container orchestration
Experience supporting productioncritical environments
Handson experience with Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes containers Gitbased workflows Linux administration Infrastructure as Code CICD tooling and scripting
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS ROSA
Experience with AWS Azure or hybridcloud architectures
Relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes or Certified Kubernetes Administrator CKA
Experience with service meshes Kafka platforms enterprise monitoring and logging security automation GitOps Helm and Argo CD

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
