We are looking for a Lab IT Support Engineer to support laboratory software, instrument-connected computers, and Windows-based lab environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot laboratory software applications.
- Support Windows OS upgrades, compatibility testing, and system maintenance.
- Manage instrument-connected PCs and resolve software, licensing, and connectivity issues.
- Create and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, VBScript, and VBA.
- Support SQL databases, data transfers, and integrations with laboratory systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams on software deployments and technical issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware, peripherals, network connectivity, and user-reported incidents.
- Maintain documentation, inventory, and security compliance for laboratory systems.
- Experience with Windows administration and software installation/support.
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell, VBScript (VBS), or VBA scripting.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, networking, and Active Directory.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting scientific, laboratory, manufacturing, or industrial applications is preferred.
- Exposure to OpenLab, Chromeleon, ChemStation, LIMS, or similar lab software.
- Experience working with instrument-connected systems and regulated environments.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
