LTL Consultants, Ltd., has a full-time job opening in our Oley, PA office for a Civil Engineer / Municipal Engineer.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering/municipal engineering services with a BS in Civil Engineering to join our municipal engineering team. LTL provides consulting engineering services to numerous municipalities in Berks, Carbon, Chester, and Montgomery Counties.
Essential Duties
- Civil and site design. (structural design a plus)
- Ability to manage municipal clients.
- Attend municipal meetings.
- Stormwater management and erosion and sediment control design.
- Review of subdivision and land development plans.
- Construction observation and inspection.
- PaDEP and PennDOT permit application preparation.
- MS4 permit implementation and management.
- Municipal ordinance and planning document preparation.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- P.E. License preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in related fields.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Valid PA Drivers License with an acceptable driving record.
Strong emphasis is placed on the ability to effectively communicate technical information, orally and in writing, in a professional manner to contractors, developers, property owners, employees, consultants, other governmental agency representatives, municipal officials and the public. The position offers a desirable mix of office and fieldwork opportunities.
