Title: Solution Architect
Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid)
Certification required: AWS: Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
Role Summary
Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of scalable cloud-native applications and platform services on AWS, driving modernization, security, resilience, operational excellence, and exceptional user experiences across enterprise technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Solution Design & Architecture
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS-based solutions aligned with business and technology objectives.
- Modern Application & UI Engineering
- Design and build modern, responsive, workflow-driven web applications supporting 10,000 concurrent users using React-based front ends and Java/Spring Boot microservices architectures.
- DevOps & Automation
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), automated testing, and deployment frameworks to accelerate software delivery.
- Reliability, Security & Performance Engineering
- Implement monitoring, observability, security controls, performance optimisation, disaster recovery, and operational resilience capabilities across cloud platforms.
- Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with architecture, engineering, operations, and business teams to define technology roadmaps, drive modernization initiatives, and establish engineering best practices.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong AWS expertise across EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, networking, and security services.
- Proven experience building large-scale enterprise web applications supporting 10,000 users with modern UI/UX patterns, workflow-driven user journeys, and high-performance user interfaces.
- Strong hands-on expertise in React, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native engineering practices.
- Strong understanding of application scalability, resiliency, security, observability, and performance tuning in production environments.
- Experience leading technical design, mentoring engineers, and delivering complex enterprise-scale technology solutions
