Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Functional Architect with deep expertise in SAP Finance FICO SAP PRA Production Revenue Accounting and JVA Joint Venture Accounting with proven experience in the Oil Gas industry The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in implementing the latest version of SAP S4HANA along with a strong background in SAP ECC and S4HANA support This role demands strategic thinking leadership and the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high impact SAP solutions
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of SAP Finance solutions in S4HANA latest version and ECC environments.
Architect end to end finance processes including GL AP AR Asset Accounting Bank Accounting Controlling and Oil & Gas specific processes.
Deliver solutions for SAP PRA and JVA ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions
Provide expert level support and guidance during SAP ECC and S4HANA support cycles
Drive fit gap analysis solution blueprinting and configuration activities
Ensure integration with other SAP modules e.g. MM SD PS and third-party systems
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to SAP best practices and standards
Participate in presales solutioning and proposal development as needed
Must Have Skills
12 years of SAP Finance FICO experience
3 full lifecycle implementations of SAP S4HANA including at least one on the latest version
Strong experience in SAP ECC and S4HANA support environments
Deep expertise in SAP PRA Production Revenue Accounting and SAP JVA Joint Venture Accounting.
Proven experience in Oil & Gas industry implementations and support
Strong understanding of financial accounting controlling and integration with logistics modules
Expertise in SAP Fiori apps related to Finance
Experience with Central Finance Group Reporting or Universal Journal
Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have Skills
Experience with SAP BTP SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP Group Reporting
Knowledge of Tax engines Vertex Avalara integration
Exposure to SAP Treasury Cash Management or Bank Communication Management
Familiarity with US GAAP IFRS and local compliance requirements
Experience in cloud hosted SAP environments AWS Azure GCP
SAP certification in S4HANA Finance
Education Certifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in finance /accounting/ information systems or related field
SAP S4HANA Finance Certification preferred
