Onsite IT L2 Support Engineer – New York City You Will:Provide critical technical support to end-users directly at their physical locationsBe responsible for diagnosing troubleshooting and resolving hardware software and network issues ensuring seamless operation of IT systems and infrastructurePlay a vital role in maintaining a productive and efficient working environment by addressing technical challenges promptly and effectivelyRespond to service tickets and requests for technical assistance via phone email or in person· Diagnose and resolve first level issues related to workstations laptops operating systems Windows macOS Linux software applications printers scanners and other peripherals· Troubleshoot network connectivity issues LANWAN VPN WiFi· Assist with user account management and access permissions· Install configure and upgrade computer hardware and software· Maintain hardware and software inventory· Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on IT equipment· Monitor and maintain computer networks and servers· Apply firewall policies and multifactor authentication MFA to secure networks· Assist with cybersecurity incident response and educate employees on best practices· Log and track support requests using a problem management database, Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions, & Prepare and submit regular reports on IT support activities
