What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Electrical Production Technician (Min 2yr Exp) position at LTI Power Systems?
Responsibilities:
- Perform Start-ups and Preventive maintenance on field-installed equipment locally and in other states (Once trained in)
- Diagnose errors, faults or technical problems to determine proper solutions
- Provide customer support in-house and in the field
- Learn and test new control boards in-house
- System Assembly and Wiring
Qualifications: 2 Year Electronics or Electrical education / experience preferred with the ability to read schematics or diagrams with troubleshooting abilities
- Experience operating basic hand tools
- Familiarity with DVM (Digital Volt Meter) and Oscilloscope
- Should be comfortable working near high AC/DC voltages (Typically 120-480V)
- Must have good interpersonal skills and conduct oneself in a professional manner
- Valid driver's license
Travel : Travel volume varies, but is typically 25%. Every effort is made to have field service technicians home on weekends. Company phone and car will be provided when traveling.
Travel Reimbursement: Full reimbursement for all travel expenses (Approved Expense Report and Original Receipts required)
Training: LTI Power Systems will provide in-house training opportunities on the equipment being serviced to familiarize technicians with the theory of operation and design of the systems.
