Long-Term Care Pharmacy Data Entry Technician
Locally Owned & Operated Long-Term Care Pharmacy
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to join our team. Our pharmacy prides itself on providing exceptional, personalized patient care and building strong relationships with patients, caregivers, nurses, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and process prescriptions, refills, medication changes, and discontinuations.
- Maintain accurate patient, facility, and prescriber information.
- Identify discrepancies or missing information and escalate clinical concerns to the pharmacist when appropriate.
- Communicate professionally with nurses, caregivers, prescribers, patients, and other healthcare providers to resolve medication-related issues.
- Prioritize urgent medication needs while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work closely with pharmacists and other team members to ensure timely and accurate medication service.
Qualifications
- Previous pharmacy data-entry experience required.
- Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred.
- FrameworkLTC experience preferred.
- Current Pharmacy Technician registration/license in good standing.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy terminology, sig codes, dosage forms, quantities, and days’ supply.
- Strong computer, data-entry, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
- Ability to communicate respectfully and constructively with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and patients.
- Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Schedule
Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM–6:30 PMRotating Saturdays: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
