Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and motivated Brick Masons and laborers to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to large-scale commercial builds. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for executing high-quality masonry work, assisting with various construction tasks, and ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, and restore structures using bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other masonry materials with precision and attention to detail
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications
• Prepare surfaces by mixing mortar, concrete forming, and applying finishing techniques such as plastering, stucco, and concrete finishing
• Install rebar (reinforcing steel bars) to strengthen structures according to engineering plans and safety standards
• Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites
• Assist with framing carpentry, metal stud framing, trim carpentry, roofing, caulking, tile laying, and other related tasks as needed
• Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and levels; ensure all work aligns with blueprint specifications
• Support renovation projects by restoring existing structures with skillful masonry techniques
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; properly handle materials and dispose of debris according to regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in masonry work including bricklaying, stonework, stucco application, and concrete finishing
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading for accurate project execution
• Skilled in concrete forming techniques and rebar installation for structural integrity
• Familiarity with hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels; power tools including saws, drills, grinders; heavy equipment operation is a plus
• Expertise in various construction disciplines like plastering, roofing, restoration work, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, welding and tile laying
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately for precise implementation
• Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety protocols at all times
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with strong communication abilities to coordinate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
• Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions; ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials safely
