JOB SUMMARY
The Delegation Oversight Supervisor supports the daily operations of Delegation Oversight activities for contracted medical groups. This position ensures delegated entities meet regulatory, accreditation, and health plan requirements. The Supervisor oversees letter and reporting governance, supports audits, monitors operational performance, and provides day-to-day leadership to staff responsible for denial/deferral letter accuracy, reporting tasks, and compliance documentation. The role collaborates closely with Medical Management leadership, IT teams, and delegated medical groups to promote consistent, compliant, and efficient operational processes.
Requirements
MINIMUM & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training
Minimum: Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, or related field.
Experience
Minimum: 7 years of experience in Delegation Oversight, Utilization Management, Quality Management, Medical Management, or related healthcare operations. Prior experience in a lead, senior, or supervisory role.
Preferred: Experience with HEDIS or other healthcare quality metrics. Experience collaborating with IT or participating in system testing. Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g. SQL/BI) and advanced Excel proficiency.
Any combination of educational and work experience that would be equivalent to the stated minimum requirements would qualify for consideration of this position.
