What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at LSI Staffing?
At LSI Staffing, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Technician to join our team. As a QA Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products by performing routine audits, sampling, and microbiological testing throughout our facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of QA or related experience in a food manufacturing environment and possess excellent mathematical, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. You will also be able to review and interpret data, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with other departments within the company.
Key responsibilities include:
- Shift: 6am- 6pm Monday-Friday
- Performing routine audits to ensure compliance with food safety and quality programs and policies
- Sampling and microbiological testing of equipment, facilities, utensils, air, water, etc.
- Preparing reports and recommending corrective actions for deficiencies resulting from sanitation audits and environmental monitoring
- Collecting finished product and raw material samples for evaluation and testing in the QA lab
- Performing analytical tests and product evaluations on raw materials and finished products
