Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop, revise, and maintain quality documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and inspection plans.
- Conduct internal audits and participate in supplier and external audits (e.g., ISO certification) to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
- Assist in implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods to monitor and control production processes.
- Perform risk assessments and contribute to the development of risk management strategies.
- Support validation and qualification activities for processes, equipment, and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address non-conformities, implement corrective actions, and review non-conforming materials and products.
- Investigate and assist in resolving customer complaints related to quality issues.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to identify trends, develop metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the maintenance, calibration, and verification of measurement and test equipment.
- Participate in new product development and introduction, providing input on quality requirements and specifications.
- Work with suppliers and customers to ensure adherence to quality requirements and expectations.
- Support the training and development of employees on quality-related processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay informed on industry trends, standards, and regulations, implementing relevant improvements as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, auditing, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of quality management systems and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with strong technical aptitude.

- Hands-on experience in mechanical engineering, particularly with stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum equipment, is highly desirable.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to concentrate and remain focused in an open office environment with potential distractions.
- May require extended periods of standing, walking, bending, or lifting materials up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects as necessary to perform job functions.
- Ability to perform visual inspections requiring close attention to detail.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required depending on specific tasks or work areas.
