In this role, you'll be a key partner in supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll administration, and HR compliance. Main Accountabilities
- Review applications, phone screen qualified applicants and set up interviews with managers of the departments
- Initiate background checks and drug screens
- Assist with new hire onboarding processes
- Prepare weekly open positions report
- Assist with payroll support, timekeeping
- Track and administer leave of absences
- Maintain accurate HR records and confidential personnel records
- Respond to employee inquiries
- Assist with handling employees Workers Compensation and Liability Reports
- Administrative duties and recordkeeping.
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience as HR clerk required
- General Knowledge with Federal, State and County Labor Laws
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, interact with all levels of management and maintain strict confidentiality
- Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with large groups - must be flexible
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish required
