Immediately hiring several positions for the evening shift operating 9:00 pm – 5.30 am. The pay rate is $18.00/h plus $1/hour for night shift differential ($19.00).

Responsibilities:

The Food Service employees prepare the meals according to airline specifications by slicing, chopping, wrapping, assembling and packing dishes and meals and loading airline catering carts with food trays. Your passion for food and strong work ethic contributes to a team effort to deliver enjoyment for passengers flying daily with our airline customers out of Chicago O’Hare airport. Your main responsibilities are:

· Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and production orders.

· Determine production time requirements and quantities based on food production order.

· Obtain all necessary ingredients, supplies and equipment.

· Maintain Equipment and work area in clean, safe and orderly manner according to Safe Food Handling Guidelines.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be able, available and flexible to work overnights, weekends and holidays according to the assigned schedule.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime when required.
• Must pass a criminal background and drug screening requirements.
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniform as required.

Qualifications:

• Ability to speak, read and understand English.
• Ability to perform in a high-pace, time-sensitive, work environment
• Ability to use knifes and kitchen equipment.
• Comply with all work rules and regulations; observe and follow safety and hygiene standards.
• Must be flexible and able to react to changing priorities.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shift of 8 hours.
• Good organizational skills.
• Must be able to follow/understand customer specifications/paperwork in English.
• Ability to handle dry ice.

Environmental Requirements:

· Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes (hot and cold) and noise.

· Working in a cold weather environment of approximately 35-40 degrees.

· This position requires to be active, walking, heavy lifting and pushing 50 lbs.
