Software & System Development Engineer

Role Overview: This position involves supporting the development of hardware and software technologies for vehicles to improve comfort, safety, and user experience, focusing on creating a high-quality infotainment platform aligned with C.A.S.E. principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Hardware and Software Testing: Conduct hands-on performance testing, develop requirements, and support maturation testing across various configurations.
• Supplier Management: Guide suppliers in designing and managing components to meet schedule and quality standards.
• Documentation: Create clear reports, technical documents, and communicate development activities effectively.
• Requirements Capture & Specification Development: Identify and specify critical hardware, software, and communication requirements based on customer needs.
• Analysis: Interpret test results, predict performance issues, and provide data for product and design improvements.
• Project Management: Communicate development status and coordinate activities across departments.
• Strategic Planning: Research and influence future trends in infotainment system architecture and features.
• Innovation & Improvement: Propose and justify new functions to meet market demands.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• 4-year degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering.
• 0-2 years of related experience preferred.
  
  

Working Conditions: Involves vehicle testing, physical activity (standing, walking, reaching), exposure to various environmental factors, and handling equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
