We are seeking a Staff Backend Engineer specializing in web-hosted services to develop and enhance backend architectures, including APIs, server-side logic, and data management systems. The role involves scaling web services that analyze and contextualize networks, collaborating on new feature development, integrating data sources, and improving analysis capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and version the web stack and codebase
- Shape operational deployment for government and industry users
- Collaborate on data source integration and scalable solutions
- Partner on cloudification, containerization, and application productization
- Review solutions to ensure maintainability and extensibility
- 2 years (advanced degree) or 4 years (bachelor’s) experience in backend/full-stack development
- 3-5 years of backend experience with object-oriented languages like Golang or Python
- Proficiency in database systems (SQL/NoSQL), testing, packaging, and requirements management
- Nice-to-have: experience with APIs, open-source projects, Linux/Mac, Docker, cloud services, and team collaboration tools
- Eligibility for security clearances up to TS/SCI
