Produce Lead → Production Supervisor

Role Overview: This position leads daily department operations in a retail store in the absence of the manager, ensuring staff training, staffing levels, and achievement of company standards and goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Order, maintain, and control inventory to ensure product freshness, quality, and minimize loss.
• Validate received orders for quality, quantity, and storage conditions.
• Manage a team responsible for stocking, production, and quality control, including date rotation and handling spoiled products.
• Maintain product knowledge, execute promotional and sales programs, and communicate flight plans.
• Support scheduling, labor control, and payroll management.
• Implement safety, food safety, cleanliness, and guest experience standards.
• Assist in developing department goals, forecasts, and participate in meetings.
• Ensure a clean, well-stocked department adhering to company standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned, possibly supporting other departments based on customer needs.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED required; retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership ability, strategic planning, and knowledge of retail operations and management systems.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus.
  
  

Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures and environments. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
