What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Setup and Breakdown Help - Westchester/White Plains-NY position at LS Floral and Decor?
We are looking for team members to assist in event production and labor support to help setup and breakdown for a private event taking place for mulitple dates at a luxury hotel located in White Plains, NY very close to Westchester near Serafina's restaruant. We have multiple areas that involve details like centerpieces, along with unloaded cargo from vans. You would know the area you are assigned to in advance,
Event Dates:
Thursday, 10/ 22 - 230pm-630pm
Friday 10/23- 10pm-1am 12am-3am (TBD if we need everyone at this hour, but ideal if you are available)
Saturday 10/24 - 10am-1pm , 5pm-730pm, 12am-130am
Must be available for both setup and breakdown
We are an event firm based in New Jersey, we travel and create visual sets for a variety of events. We are looking for local support staff to help produce the set and bring a theme to life.
This is a great opportunity to earn extra income, learn, experience new locations in a fun environment, and meet new people.
Specific tasks for this include loading and unloading and decor and centerpiece setting up. There will be a team of about 8-10. We are not moving tables and chairs. Previous event, theater, banquet, arts, floral, theatre set design experience is useful but not necessary. Everyone is assigned different areas dependent on your comfort level/skill set.
