Responsibilities
- The EHS Associate supports the implementation and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a safe work environment
- This role assists with training, audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering with site leadership and employees to strengthen safety culture and environmental performance
- Develop and maintain EHS policies and programs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other federal, state, and local regulations
- Prepare and implement the facility's annual EHS operating plan and related action plans
- Evaluate workplace hazards and operational risks
- Provide support regarding implementation of EHS strategy and product stewardship at R&D
- Participate in routine EHS assessments, investigations, and internal and external audits
- Supports department personnel with administrative duties, projects, and initiatives
- Manage company EHS budget
- Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and legal requirements across all locations
