Job description:
We are looking for a highly organized, reliable individual with an attention for detail to help our service department work efficiently. This is a temporary role spanning 4-6 months, if business needs allow and performance is good this position may be extended into permanent employment.
LPA Retail Systems is a growing, industry leading Point of Sale and IT provider located in Burnsville, MN. We are an NCR Voyix Partner and specialize in the Counterpoint Retail Point of Sale application along with the hardware it requires.
This role is a Scheduling Admin for the IT Service Department with a primary focus on efficient dispatching and scheduling of work and oversight of the current ongoing tickets. You will report to the Service Manager and work closely with the technicians and project managers to accomplish your goals. At times you will also be interacting directly with the sales team to dispatch work sourced from the sales department. This is an in-person role located in Burnsville, MN.
In addition to scheduling and dispatching this role is also responsible for all shipping and receiving as well as repair and rental requests and some general administrative tasks. You will also be expected to answer incoming phone calls occasionally during periods of high volume.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Management of the support email inbox and creating and dispatching tickets sourced from that inbox
- Scheduling effectively and efficiently and managing the ticket boards to ensure client satisfaction
- Handling all shipping and receiving for the business
- Answering inbound phone calls during periods of high volume
- Management of the repair and rental process
Requirements/Personal Attributes Include:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years’ experience in office administration or dispatching
- Highly organized
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated positive attitude
- Leadership experience is a plus
- Experience with IT or Point of Sale software a plus
- Self-motivated positive attitude
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all service tickets are assigned and scheduled
- Shipping and Receiving completed daily
- Average ticket age under 25 days
- All repair requests completed in a timely manner
Job Type: Full-time (Temporary Role 4-6 Months)
Base Pay: $19.00-$24.00/hour, if position becomes permanent, a yearly profit-sharing bonus may be paid at the discretion of the owners.
