Position Summary
Supports neurology clinics by providing specialized nursing care, assisting with diagnostics, treatment planning, and coordination of neurological services.
Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). One year of outpatient neurology or related specialty experience preferred.
Certifications
Must maintain BLS and ACLS certifications through approved organizations.
Licensure
Current, full, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in a U.S. jurisdiction.
Contract Worker Standard Qualifications
- Assess and monitor neurological patients and assist with diagnostics.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Recognize neurological emergencies and respond appropriately.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care and referrals.
- Document all nursing care accurately.
- Operate and monitor specialty equipment.
- Participate in training, peer review, and quality improvement.
