What You'll Do
We're looking for an exceptional HVAC Service Technician who takes pride in their craft and consistently delivers accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and outstanding customer experiences. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems and just as importantly, help homeowners understand what's actually going on with their system so they can make an informed decision. You will identify system issues efficiently, explain findings in plain language, and recommend the option that's genuinely best for the customer's home, budget, and safety. By working closely with dispatch and management, you will help complete service calls efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and mini-splits
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues to identify root causes and verify proper system operation after service
- Evaluate system age, condition, and repair history to determine whether repair or replacement genuinely serves the customer's best interest
- Educate homeowners in plain language on what's happening with their system and present options transparently, including long-term cost, so they can make an informed decision
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company safety standards
- Maintain a clean, professional job site and keep the company vehicle properly stocked and inventoried
- Complete accurate service documentation, job notes, and equipment history
- Participate in ongoing technical training to stay current on equipment, tools, and repair techniques
Skills
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and diagnostic procedures
- 3 Years of experience servicing and repairing residential HVAC systems (Preferred)
- Clean and safe driving record
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- High integrity and professionalism in customers’ homes
- Coachable, motivated, and committed to continuous improvement
Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
