- Participate in training to gain a greater knowledge of Transmission Field Operations procedures, tools, and safe equipment operation pertinent to assigned work areas
- Identify personal protective equipment (PPE) required for job duties
- Learn and apply all safety, environmental and departmental policies and procedures
- Perform entry-level or training duties with the System Operations Control Center
- Track time and expenses for various projects
- Operate handheld manual and power tools (e.g., rock saws and cut-off saws), auxiliary equipment, and industrial vehicles
- A High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
- Driver's License
- Ability to work and communicate with team members, supervision/management and external organizations under normal and emergency conditions
- Knowledge of safety principles and hazards
