In this role, you will be the backbone of our operations, taking charge of the upkeep, inspections, and repair of critical equipment across multiple dynamic facilities: Fayette Power Plant, Lost Pines, Sim Gideon, Winchester Power Park, Ferguson and Timmerman. How You’ll Contribute:

- Perform end-to-end maintenance on industrial mechanical equipment, including air compressors, heat exchangers, gear reducers, valves, pumps, and fans.
- Construct and weld custom piping and structural frameworks according to design schematics.
- Operate fabrication equipment for cutting, welding, and fitting metals while strictly adhering to safety requirements.
- Execute OSHA-compliant excavations and industrial surface preparation, including sandblasting and painting operations.
- Partner with electrical and control technicians to execute daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
- Operate handheld manual tools and power tools (e.g., rock saws and cut-off saws) in performing repair and maintenance tasks.
- Four or more years of experience in maintenance and/or repair of mechanical equipment or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in mechanical or industrial maintenance, instrumentation, controls or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver's license
- Proficient in adhering to safety and maintenance procedures.
- Experience welding, maintaining fabrication and using power tools.
- Experience in troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
