Lowell Catholicseeking a warm, organized, and reliable Front Office Administrative Assistant to serve as a key member of our school community. This role is the first point of contact for students, families, and visitors, while also providing day-to-day support to the Principal and Assistant Principal on projects and school-based initiatives. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable multitasking, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and efficient front office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist students, families, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Support daily front office operations, including attendance, dismissals, and student sign-in/out processes
- Maintain accurate student records using school systems (Rediker and SchoolPass)
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and school events
- Draft and distribute communications to families and staff as needed
- Provide administrative support to the Principal and Assistant Principal, including special projects and school initiatives
- Help coordinate school events, mailings, and general office organization
- Serve as a point of contact for internal staff and external partners
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in an administrative or front office role preferred, ideally in a school setting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable using technology, including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)
- Ability to learn and navigate school-based systems such as Rediker and SchoolPass
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Friendly, patient, and enjoys working with high school students and families
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
