Commercial Cleaner (Independent Contractor)

At Low Tide Cleaning Services, we value our cleaners as the foundation of our business and ensure they are fairly compensated. We are currently hiring for a commercial cleaning role to support new client locations. This role reports to the cleaning supervisor and requires 3–5 years of professional cleaning experience. Contractors are expected to supply their own equipment and cleaning materials.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Sanitize and restock restrooms
- Empty and replace trash and recycling receptacles
- Clean glass surfaces, mirrors, and windows
- Maintain order and cleanliness in common spaces (lobbies, hallways, break rooms)
- Adhere to company cleaning protocols and safety standards
- Notify supervisor of any facility maintenance issues or supply needs
- Comply with health, hygiene, and safety regulations
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of prior experience in commercial, custodial, or janitorial work strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Strong attention to detail with consistent, high-quality results
- Time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Physical capability to handle repetitive cleaning tasks and lift/move heavier items as needed
