What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician position at Low Cost Animal Medical Center?

Seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician for a high volume, fast-paced 4 doctor non-profit practice. This position is for full time hours, but with potential to move to full time.

The ideal candidate has both critical thinking skills and excellent technical skills and is proficient in these areas:

Dental prep, scaling, polishing

Safe and effective canine and feline restraint

Venipuncture

IV catheter placement

Microscopy

Radiography

Wound care

Anesthesia

Surgical prep

Client communication

Medical note taking
