You’ll lead nightly loading, inventory coordination, and fleet prep with precision and care, making sure our trucks roll out damage-free and our systems stay tight.
What Success Looks Like
- Print loading documents, prepare pull sheets, verify accuracy, and place all required paperwork in vehicles for morning rollout.
- Pull, stage, and load all materials and equipment needed for next-day jobs; manage overflow when trucks are full and communicate adjustments to leadership in real time.
- Enter all crew returns into the system, return items to correct inventory locations, report shortages, and identify restock needs before they impact production.
- Be present with crews during loading, ensure accuracy and safe handling, confirm all post-trip inspections are completed, and immediately report vehicle or equipment damages.
- Keep the yard, warehouse, and loading zones organized and safe; prevent non-quality materials from being loaded; and communicate issues quickly so plans can be adjusted.
- Fuel all trucks and equipment (including bobcats, sod rollers, and other machinery) and assist with staging vehicles for an efficient morning rollout.
- Record all received materials into work orders and verify each crew has the correct tools, machinery, and supplies listed on the crew board.
- Keep gravel out of the street, empty office trash nightly, sweep weekly, and secure all buildings, gates, and vehicles at the end of each shift.
- Identify low-stock items, material shortages, or recurring issues and escalate them early to support uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure all materials are handled without damage, monitor safe work habits, reinforce company procedures, and lead by example during loading operations.
- Partner with crew leaders to confirm readiness, answer questions, resolve issues before rollout, and keep nightly operations running smoothly.
- Identify opportunities to streamline loading processes, improve efficiency, reduce errors, and strengthen daily operational performance.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned that support the mission and core values of LOVING, ensuring alignment with our culture of community, integrity, and impact.
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, three‑year MVR review, and DOT medical exam
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear communication and teamwork with crew leaders, managers, and teammates
- Ability to work independently while guiding crews during loading and staging
- Physical capability to assist with materials and equipment, with safe handling practices
- Comfort with paperwork, inventory systems, and operational processes
- Proactive mindset to anticipate challenges and improve efficiency
- Spanish speaking highly preferred
