What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) position at Loving Hands Pharmacy?
Full-time Pharmacist In Charge needed for Long Term Care Pharmacy, working with Assisted Living homes, Board and Care Homes, Hospices, and Home Health Agencies. Must be committed to working Monday - Friday (9am - 5:30). Must have people skills, excellent phone skills, proactive, prompt, responsible, computer savvy, problem solver, independent and on time.PIC will manage pharmacy including, making sure all routine meds are in stock. Must be willing to learn pharmacy system, and pharmacy processes. Duties will include majority of the prescription processing, and customer service with all patients, phone customer service with patients / caregivers of patients / doctor office staff, consultation of any and all meds prescribed and OTC products sold, RX and OTC ordering, phone / fax prescription processing, supervise technician and any other staff working in the pharmacy, etc.Bilingual Spanish / Tagalog is a plus.
