Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP).
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday thru Friday - No Weekends.

Provide the expertise, knowledge, and skills necessary to organize and supervise Loveland Center participants in the classroom, on campus, and/or in the community.
Direct service professionals must be 18 years or older and possess a valid Florida driver's license.
Using a curriculum, educate, encourage, and empower participants to reach their goals through hands-on Practical Skills Training as they apply to everyday life. Services are to be provided on campus as well as in the community.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Fully adheres to Loveland Center's Code of Ethics and Unifying Values.
- Maintain professional standards of the highest quality with regard to health, safety, classroom management, and public relations.
- Acquire and maintain a proficient level of technological skills as applied to job requirements and industry standards within the designated area of instruction.
- Implement an age-appropriate curriculum, utilizing state-of-the-art teaching methods and materials, including computers, iPads/tablets, various applications as well as written and unwritten materials.
- Work within prescribed individualized implementation plans and behavior plans for each participant; monitoring progress and giving input on setting annual goals.
- Transport participants as assigned by the Adult Day Training Manager.
- Perform all other duties not specifically identified, as assigned by the Adult Day Training Manager, Chief Operating Officer, or President/CEO.
- While performing the duties of this job, a DSP is regularly required to talk, hear, and see; frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands.
- The DSP is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; as well as stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
