Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team full or part-time. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing
- Take dental x-rays
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Experience:
-Current Registered Dental Hygienist License
- Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred
- Proficiency in using Dentrix software for patient record management
- Knowledge of vital signs measurements and interpretation
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Familiarity with coding for insurance billing purposes
- Excellent infection control practices to maintain a safe environment
- Knowledge of dental office systems and procedures
-Previous CPR and First Aid training
