Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management and ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Supervise and train staff on food preparation, customer service, and safety protocols to uphold quality standards.
- Manage inventory control, including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Toast POS system.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and implementing strategies to improve overall restaurant performance.
- Support kitchen management by coordinating food production, quality checks, and timely service during busy hours.
- Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within upscale and fine dining environments.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, food safety standards, and culinary practices.
- Hands-on experience with Toast POS system, Restaurant 365, TripleSeat, and Tock is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with a background in staff training, supervision, and team development.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities including shift scheduling, inventory control, and customer service.
- Previous experience working in hospitality management or hotel settings is a plus.
