What are the responsibilities and job description for the Greeter position at Loureiro Contractors?
Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. (LEA) is seeking a Greeter to add to our team in Plainville, CT. In this role, the Greeter will be responsible for overseeing the proper charging of customers, selling of permits, account record keeping, good housekeeping and customer instruction at the Town of West Hartford (TWH) Residential Drop Off Center located at 17 Brixton Street, West Hartford, CT. This position will require polite and helpful communication and instruction to all TWH residents. Professional & ethical behavior is required at all times.
United States Military Veteran is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Be accountable for yourself and to LEA
- Work in partnership with TWH & disposal transporter (Paine’s)
- Ensure that customer service standards are met and maintained and any potential issues are resolved promptly
- Follow all safety protocol at all times regarding people, vehicles and traffic operations
- Maintain and practice open and clear communication
- Offer residents assistance in unloading of materials from their vehicles
- Abide by all local, state and federal laws, rules, regulations and guidelines
- Use of company approved software programs
- Available to work agreed upon days and hours from April 1, 2023 through March 31, 2024
- Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Saturdays: 8am - 1pm (from April 1, 2023 – December 23, 2023)
- The Residential Drop Off Center will be closed for the following holidays: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas
