About This Position
This position is in District 05/Mechanic Shop/Unit 071 Ouachita Parish/ Monroe, LA it serves nine parishes of the Department of Transportation and Development and reports directly to the Mechanic Supervisor B. This position functions as Maintenance Clerk in a District wide or Parish wide Maintenance office. The incumbent must be self-motivated and able to perform duties independently with little to no supervision on a regular basis. The incumbent is also expected to exercise a high degree of independent judgment and initiative in determining the approach/action to take in non-routine situations that may arise.

- Working knowledge of SAP (Plant Maintenance, PTMW, MIGO, IFCU, IW21-Notification, and IW31-Work Order), Agile Assets (La.GOV), and Microsoft Office software
- Ability to type, use a two-way radio, personal computer, fax machine, copier, PDAs, and printers

- Ability to maintain confidential files on employees, including personnel, training, small tools, and productivity used for Annual Plannings and Performance Evaluation System.
- Must be proficiently skilled with working knowledge of SAP- (Plant Maintenance, PTMW, MIGO, FV60, IFCU, IW21- Notification and IW31- Work Order), eProcurement, Agile Assets (LaGOV), and Microsoft Office software.
- Prepares, enters, and edits Daily Work Reports for Highway Foreman and other maintenance unit staff, which includes information on materials and equipment used, as well as, man hours spent in the Agile Assets, Plant Maintenance, and PTMW systems.
- Prepares and submits payroll audit package for review and audit by the District Business Office.
- May be required to perform other duties as necessary including, but not limited to, emergency/disaster support activities.

- Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
