Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate the scheduling and routing of concrete pumping services. In this vital role, you will manage communication between Sales, Drivers, and Customer, utilizing advanced transportation management systems and GPS technology to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Your proactive approach will help optimize our fleet operations and support seamless project execution.
Duties
- Coordinate daily dispatching of concrete pumping equipment to various job sites using transportation management systems and GPS tools.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, salesmen, and field teams ensuring clear instructions and updates.
- Monitor fleet movements through GPS tracking, adjusting routes as needed for efficiency and safety.
- Enter data accurately into systems such as Kickserv Field Service Manager and Samsara to track truck locations, schedules, and ticket status.
- Provide exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills to handle inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Strong analysis skills with experience in transportation planning or logistics coordination.
- Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information Systems), GPS technology, and transportation management systems such as Samsara or Kickserv Field Service Manager.
- Excellent typing skills combined with proficiency in multi-line phone systems for efficient communication.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in dispatching or transportation management is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette.
