The Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts is growing! As our student body continues to grow, we are seeking additional talented, motivated, and qualified string instructors with a passion for music education. LAAPA offers flexible schedules, performance opportunities, and a stimulating work environment.
Now hiring for Spring/Summer 2026 teaching opportunities at our Northshore campuses in Covington and Mandeville.
Compensation based on education and experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Music Degree or Equivalent Professional Experience
- Ability to conduct weekly private and group lessons and arrange lesson plans
- Outgoing personality
- Ability to make each lesson fun and enjoyable for students of all ages
- Ability to teach in two or more programs is a plus!
