Louis Ptak Construction is seeking several Journeyman Finish Carpenters for our Subcontracting team with job sites in or around San Francisco.
What You Get To Own
- Perform high-quality carpentry installations, including framing, millwork (casing, baseboard, crown molding, wall, and ceiling paneling), doors, windows, siding, cabinets, and stairs.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, sketches, RFI’s, and Submittals.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ensure all work aligns with company quality standards and project deadlines.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site carpentry issues.
- Mentor and develop junior carpenters and apprentices
- 10 years of finish carpentry experience
- 5 years of high-end residential experience (must be able to provide 3 references)
- Have a full complement of tools, including specialty tools for division 6.
