Call Center Representative – Medical Equipment

Louis & Clark Medical Supply is a family-owned durable medical equipment supplier serving the greater Springfield, Massachusetts area. We are dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and helping patients obtain the medical equipment they need.

Join our team as a Call Center Representative and become one of the first points of contact for our patients, caregivers, referral sources, and healthcare providers. In this role, you will answer incoming calls, provide order updates, route requests to the appropriate departments, and assist with resolving customer concerns. We are looking for dependable individuals who are organized, professional, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This position is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the healthcare industry and learn the operations of a growing medical equipment company. Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls from patients, caregivers, referral sources, and healthcare providers
• Provide order status updates and basic information regarding equipment and services
• Document customer interactions accurately within company systems
• Transfer and route calls to appropriate departments when necessary
• Follow up on requests for documentation, prescriptions, and other required information
• Assist customers with questions regarding equipment deliveries, pickups, and service requests
• Research customer concerns and communicate appropriate resolutions
• Maintain professionalism and empathy during all customer interactions
• Meet performance expectations for call handling, documentation, and customer service
• Communicate recurring issues and process improvement opportunities to management

• Strong phone and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Customer service experience preferred
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required
