Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Assist customers with product demos and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory
- Conduct regular stock checks, manage inventory levels, and assist with stocking new products
- Promote store promotions and educate customers on product features and benefits
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information or directing calls appropriately
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures
- Supervising or leadership experience in retail or similar environments is a plus
- Ability to perform product demonstrations confidently and engage customers effectively
- Bilingual skills to communicate with diverse customer bases are highly valued
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for professional interactions
- Strong upselling techniques to boost sales while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail math for inventory management
