Job Summary
The Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services (MHSADS) is currently seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of Case Manager for the Recovery Court Program with Loudoun County.
This full-time position is a member of the Case Management Program and will provide targeted case management services to adults participating in the Recovery Court program who are on supervised probation and meet classification for substance use dependence. Targeted Case Management is an intensive, community-based service occurring within the individual’s natural settings including their home.
The ideal candidate m ust have knowledge, experience, and skills in:
Hiring salary commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field; three (3) years related professional experience in the provision of mental health, substance use, and/or case management services.
Preferred Qualifications
Valid driver's license and good driving record (driving records may be reviewed annually for continued qualification). Pass pre-employment background checks including fingerprinting, NCIC, credit, and DMV checks. Pass TB test within 30 days of hire.

- A ssessing an individual’s strengths and needs.
- C onducting comprehensive psycho-social needs assessments.
- D eveloping and implementing a recovery-oriented treatment plan.
- S upporting individuals with substance use disorders and serious mental illness.
- F acilitating intra-agency and interagency coordination.
- W orking as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to include law enforcement, court officials and staff, treatment providers, psychiatrists, family members and other community service providers.
- J udicial process and procedures.
- L inking individuals to requested services and supports while promoting individual choice.
- M onitoring service delivery.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- S trong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic health records and operating software.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience and/or background in American Society of Addiction Medicine ( ASAM) , Illness Management and Recovery ( IMR), and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT).
- B ilingual in both Spanish and English highly desirable.
- QMHP eligible.
