Part-Time LED Trailer Driver
Pay: Based on experience
Schedule: Part-time (Weekly schedule, approximately 3 days per week)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Trailer Driver to transport equipment and materials on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate is comfortable towing trailers for extended periods, has a reliable vehicle equipped for towing, and is committed to safe and professional driving.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Must own a 2015 or newer SUV or pickup truck equipped with a towing hitch
- Must maintain full coverage auto insurance
- Previous experience hauling trailers
- Ability to drive for extended periods throughout the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Required Experience
- Safe operation of vehicles while towing trailers
- Trailer backing and maneuvering
- Proper hitching and unhitching procedures
- Securing cargo using straps and tie-downs
- Performing basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Following assigned routes and schedules
- Using GPS and navigation systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience towing enclosed trailers
- Basic mechanical knowledge of trailers, including lights, tires, and hitches
- Experience transporting valuable equipment or cargo
