Lotus Village Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation, located in Sparta, North Carolina, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide quality, hands-on care and help our residents achieve their therapy goals in a skilled nursing setting.
Position Details:
- Status: Full-Time & PRN
- Shift: Day shift preferred (flexibility may be available)
- Setting: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility
Responsibilities:
- Follow treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy to residents
- Track daily notes, treatment progress, and billing
- Assist with discharge planning and patient education
- Communicate with therapy team, nursing, and families
- Participate in care meetings and facility initiatives
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Current state licensure as a PTA
- Prior LTC/SNF experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents as needed
- Strong teamwork and time management skills
