Dietary Aide
Lotus Village Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team at our skilled nursing facility in Sparta, NC!

What You’ll Do
As a Dietary Aide, you’ll help ensure our residents receive meals and snacks that are prepared and served safely, accurately, and with a focus on hospitality.
Your responsibilities will include:
Prepare dining areas, meals, trays, and beverages according to menus and residents’ dietary orders.
Become familiar with menu items and provide friendly, helpful service to residents and guests.
Serve meals and requested items while following dietary guidelines and facility procedures.
Respond to residents’ dining needs while maintaining a welcoming and respectful environment.
Prepare and deliver snacks and nourishments as directed.
Gather food, beverages, and supplies needed for meal service.
Maintain accurate records of residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
Follow all local, state, and federal food safety and handling regulations.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene, and safety throughout the dietary department.
Work collaboratively with the dietary and nursing teams to provide excellent service to our residents.
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to providing excellent resident service.
A positive and compassionate attitude toward working with seniors.
